J- Night, An Ice-breaking Night

J Night 2009

‘J’eah… PrAiSe God for such a great and wonderful event!We have 14 freshies joining us and majority of it ts foundation year. Thanks to Daniel, Gaik Ee, Charlotte and Joleen who came and give our support, appreciated it very much from MMU12. Thanks to Wei Quan, Freddy, Ricky, David Jr, David Foo and Jinnie, is only beCaUsE of them that this night is so successful,so fun, so excited and many more!, especially Wei Quan and Freddy whom is the mAiN piLLlar of the outreach program, whenever I’m fighting on the front line, I know both of them is behind me fighting side by side and that’s where I felt protected. Thank God for both of you. I Really appreciate your hArdWOrk and your SuPpOrt, the thing that really touched me is both of their burDen and heart deSire for this land. Thank God for the ViSiOn and DrEam we shared together. Amen! Thanks to all of you guys who prayed for our J-NiGht, especially Joshua Ng who interceded for us and Joleen who prayed 45 mins before the J-Night. Wei Quan, Freddy as well whom had prayed hard for God’s miracles on this night.

Well, Our PrAyEr works… God really work when we pray! I had interceded for this land since 1st of June, almost everyday prayer walk in MMU to see God’s WORK in our LaNd, finally we could felt the honey in our lip (the taste of victory). Brothers and Sisters, We don’t want just to taste it on our lips, WE want to FeeL and eXpeRieNce the VicToRy FuLLy at the END of our campaigne. Let’s continue to BeLieVe and TrUst God’s MiRaCle again and again in our LAND.

The Night…

God is always good to us to send so many freshies at his own timing, God sent 8 freshies at the beginning of the night where 6 of them are the last minute divine appointment from God. All 6 of them are our futsal ‘kaki‘, apparently they thought I invited them for futsal, yet I did mention is an ice- breaking night. One of them heard wrongly and brought the rest with their sports attire (haha!) then the rest of them ‘persecute’ him as the rest of us dress nicely, yet at the end of it they had lots of funs more than futsal (Praise God!). And we had another 6 joining us at the later part.

The night is a great BOoM as we started our night with Steward chairing, doing a brief introduction and start with an ice-breaking with “Angel says…“. Basically, they needs to respond to me with ‘J’ eah when I said freshies then instructions such as high 5 to 10 people and say J etc etc… This ice-breaking end with the final instruction, that is to sing and dance the “ Making Melody in my heart song”. Basically, after the ice-brekie, all of them are pUmp up for another two games by Freddy and Wei Quan. Freddy conducted a game called ‘SeCreT KiLLer‘, where the killer kills by sending pulse through the hand and the victim got 3 seconds before they die, Arrr~~ to say the killer. The best killer award goes to David Foo who is good at hiding his expression, the best killer out there, where else all the other freshies look so inNoCent. My goodness. We proceed with the second game by Wei Quan where we played ‘The Chair‘, the game started with everyone is gentle and shy but at the game progress people start to keep up and start to be agressive and not so gentlemen, haha! We had a really good LaUgh and LoTz of fUn from this two games. We ended the both games with a ‘special reward’ which is the “ChIckie DanCe”. Next is the discussion conduct by Ricky, we’re talking about the 5 love languages. Wei Quan lead one discussion group and Ricky lead the other one. The result of this discussion, we could see that they know one another love language and they joke who has the love language. This discussions really benefits them for their inter relating skill with their room mate, group mate and friends. Finally we wrap up with announcement for our “One Night in KL” Tour with all the students and the Freshies Retreat. We do the ‘ MeLoDy DancE’ for the final time before we go for supper.

Look at all these young and vibrant people (including me,Steward)! They are fun, excited, like to talk a lot, out spoken (esp Nelly and Liang, remind me of Sheue Yun and Jason, yes, this is how crazy they can be).

REALLY, Enthusiastic people! We have 14 freshies joining us (Freddy, WQ, Ricky and me), that’s a lot of people. We also had another gang of people joining us for weekly futsal (All FOSEE).

Indeed the harvest is HUGE but the workers are few, yet I believe God is a miraculous and BIGGER God than all these. He will make the impossible possible, we are the new wineskin to contain all these new wine. Amen!

We went to Zanmai for her farewell.. she is going to Texas, USA for 5 months internship (work & travel at the sametime)

we definately will miss her alot =)

Fun CG In Sunway

Yes, here we were in Sunway Lagoon on 18th October 2008! The activity was organized by MMU1 and MMU2 CG in conjunction of Wei Quan’s farewell party cum (secretly) Joleen’s Birthday celebration. Wei Quan has gone to Penang for a 3-month industrial training. We’ll be missing him and his humor until he comes back. Anyway, the main purpose for this outing was to appreciate the above mentioned VIP and also to spend time with our lovely contacts.

We all had fun playing at the Water Park and Amusement Park. We went there macho macho and healthy healthy, come back with a spinach face. =.= Mostly was horrified by the culprit called the Spinning Cups (forget what exactly it is called…Lol) Do not underestimate this cup, the faster it spins, the harder you’ll feel at the end of the game.

I was scared to “fly” along the slide with the carpet initially. However, out of the youthful spirit and young heart (*cough*) I joined them along. No doubt, it’s very chi-kek, very exciting!

We pray that the good time we spent, the things we shared will forever printed in our hearts. Ultimately God is the main actor in the circle of our life. In Him, we find love, joy and peace.

Pray that God will empower us to be carriers of His grace to others.In faith, we receive the ability to share it with love to our loved ones. We want to see our friends joining heir with Jesus and sharing the joy of receiving the precious gift of salvation with us. Amen.

One Life, Live It To The MAX! Student Camp (Part 2)

Continues from the last post…

Although not being able to attend camp, I think God for His greatness in me. A special speaker spoke during the Sunday about revelation in KLFGA. He shared how do we differentiate words of prophecy and others. I learnt new things and get to see my first church in KL once again. Amen.

· Live lives that are worthy of God’s praise. That people in the world may see the Christ in us.

One life, live it to the MAX! student camp

We regretted joining this student camp because we had too much fun that we want more, More, MORE of the camp!!! This Boot Camp will forever serve us a space in our memories. The fun that we have had, the powerful teachings we have learned, all happened because God’s presence was with us there. Praise God for the creative committees from Hope PJ and also all the leaders who had been working so hard and sacrifice their bedtime for us. Thank God for their commitment!

The word of testimonies are important to lift up our faith. Therefore, the MMU caregroups would like to share their heart beats with you here. Enjoy =)

Do not give up easily!!

The lesson I have learned through the camp is God will make things which seem impossible to become possible so long that we do not give up easily. Indeed, it was a fruitful camp. We do face a lot of challenges.However, I believe God will surely bless our land (MMU) as we do not give up easily.

I have learned the key word “Do not give up easily”. Fyi, our group was team 9, which was also the least in numbers among the 12 teams. We had a lots of station games in the camp. Our ranking was the 2^nd last during the 1^st day of activities. We never thought of winning any prizes. Winning seem impossible for our team. Our team did not feel discouraged, instead we put our very best effort to enjoy playing every game during the camp. To cut the story short, our team won the 1^st runner up. Wow! Everyone of us were shocked once the announcement were made. Impossible things do happen when God is around!

Kidnap scene: Reminded of the invisible God who unfailingly love me. In the darkest moment, when we are despair, lose hope, feel giving up, God is the invisible power behind the scene who plants love and hope in us. He is waiting for us to turn to Him, to put hope in Him. Though we cannot see what God sees the fact is that God still love us no matter how we have become. His love for us remain unchanged.

Unity: Leading a group of people of various characteristics who have different priority is a very hard chore. However, when you show kindness to them, put hope in them, persevere in doing what is right and crying for God’s leading, God will eventually change the hearts of the people and move them together with God’s vision.

chia hong birthday!

MMU2

we was having mathew cg last week.

played badminton in MMU campus.

we had a great time. had about 6 contacts joined us.

But we had another secret plan to do after cg. Which is want to celebrate chia hong birthday 2 days earlier.

So i had a difficult time to hide the cakes. We hide the cake in HB3 stall, then i curi take the cake to my car. SOme contacts saw it, look like so funny. Thanks for their great heart for not celebrating together with them, they seems don mind XD

after eating dinner in HB3, sheue yun said want to go ERL station go back seremban (logic reason)

however i said wan to go PICC there first. then we jus go… end up.. we are in HERE. see pic below.

In putrajaya

Chia Hong donno at all that we want to celebrate birthday with him. He thought we really just want to shoot photos.

then me & freddy bring the cake behind MAYBANK. Then i bring them over to his side, while walking. Freddy surprise Chia Hong with the cake, sheue yun surprise him with a video clip that done nicely from her jus to give him as a present. Touching clip o~, got chance sure will share with all of you.
